Yacsel and Blanca tied the knot at St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church in Miami. It was such a touching ceremony. They carried on the evening at the beautiful Miami Beach Resort and Spa. There are not many ballrooms that we walk in and say “wow” to, but this was definitely one of them. We were able to spend some quality time during the day getting to know these two and they have such an amazing story.
After filming their wedding I realized how often we take for granted the fact that our parents can be present for our special day. Unfortunately, through last minute visa problems, Yacsel’s mother could not attend. It made me realize how important of a gift I was giving this couple. They say a picture is worth a thousand words – true. Photography is a very important medium. However, I feel one of the best ways Yacsel’s mother can truly re-live his day is through the medium of film. The simple ability of being able to hear her sons vows, to experience the sounds, emotions and events as they unfold in real time. In my mind there is nothing more powerful than that.
That being said, here is a sample of their beautiful day below through our lens. Sit back, turn up your speakers and grab some tissues.![]()
